State Rep. Clark Hall, one of three Democratic candidates for Congress, has been elusive on getting nailed down for a debate with primary opponents Scott Ellington and Gary Latanich.
Presumptuous, you might say. He's trying to anoint himself the presumptive candidate by challenging Republican incumbent Rep. Rick Crawford to a debate.
Best debate your Democratic primary opponents first, Mr. Hall.
UPDATE: The Hall campaign objects to my characterization of Hall's eagerness to debate primary opponents. He hasn't challenged them to debates in the same fashion as he did Crawford today, but the campaign says "details of a Democratic primary debate are being discussed and an announcement would be forthcoming in the next few weeks."
UPDATE: A good rip of the Crawford tax plan at this blog.
