A routine traffic stop in McAlmont by a Pulaski deputy yields suspects in thefts of, among others, dozens of candy bars and some jeans (loose fit, naturally).
Note to thieves: swallowing two grams of powder cocaine to hide evidence when a Pulaski deputy approaches might not be a good idea. And about those stolen candy bars: if you stole those new pairs of diabetic socks for therapeutic reasons, maybe the candy — 69 Hershey bars, 31 Almond Joys, 30 packs of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and a bag of soft peppermint puffs — wasn't such a good idea. Video game gear and two baby monitors also were seized.
