Boozman: Against NCTR before he was for it

Why do voters let its politicians get away with this?

Tuesday, the Senate approved a spending bill that would provide $60 million for the National Center for Toxicological Research at Pine Bluff.

Sen. John "Dr. No" Boozman VOTED AGAINST THE FUNDING BILL THAT INCLUDED NCTR.

Get a load of this quote in Stephens Media coverage of the vote, which noted Boozman's vote against the bill, but added that he "supports" the funding:

“He is pleased to see more funding for this important center in the Senate version of the appropriations bill,” said Sara Lasure, a spokeswoman for Boozman.

If he was so pleased, why didn't he vote for the damn bill?

Blithering hypocritical dick of the week.
