Well of course President Obama went to the source — Romney people — for advice on his health care legislation modeled after the plan Mitt Romney pushed into law in Massachusetts while governor there.

If Romney had a core, he’d stand up for what he did in Massachusetts. I still believe if more people would stand up for coverage for the uninsured, for the end of denial of coverage to sick people, for low-cost extended coverage for young people and for all the other benefits of the federal law (yes, I know single-payer would be preferable), it could be made a political winner, deluded optimist that I am.
