Speaking of football, Lindsey and I talked about Taylor Branch’s widely read article on the shame of big-time college football on this week’s podcast. What to do about it? Realistically, colleges won’t return to no-scholarship, play-for-fun football. But here’s a nice feature in the New York Times about a former football college powerhouse, one of the country’s elite academic schools, which now plays the sport just for fun in Division III.
