Police make arrests in church robbery

Little Rock police announced today that they'd arrested three suspects — two of them juveniles — in the robberies of 18 people during Sunday school yesterday at the Third Missionary Baptist Church on W. 17th Street.

The full report is here. A neighbor's tip about fleeing robbers led cops to a house where the first two suspects were found, along with most of the goods and cash stolen from church members. They subsequently nabbed a third suspect who was also charged with a carjacking Aug. 28 at Home Depot of a man who reported being robbed by men who met him to purchase a gun he'd advertised for sale.

The one named suspect was Larry Storay, 20 (pictured.)
