UCA board OKs change on investigation

Short and sweet. There was no discussion and no dissent when the UCA Board of Trustees met today to turn an investigation of the Aramarak proposal to finance renovation of the president's house over to the school's internal audit office. This revokes an earlier decision to use an appointed committee for the job. Internal audit will report findings to the Board of Trustees.

For another day, I guess: What to do about the university employee, VP Diane Newton, and Board chairman, Scott Roussel, who knew about the strings attached to the Aramark gift (a seven-year contract extension) but didn't mention it to the Board, and who, in the case of Newton, knew the UCA administration, then led by Allen Meadors, had originated the idea?
