Talk Business has a scoop on news that Georgia-Pacific will indefinitely suspend operations of a sawmill and plywood plant in Crossett in November, a move that could mean layoffs of 700. Weak housing market blamed. The company, now owned by the Koch brothers, employs 1,400 more in other operations in Crossett.
Perhaps the Kochs could put some of the unemployed on the Americans for Prosperity payroll.
