The Little Rock police report the arrest of three burglary suspects yesterday afternoon in Boyle Park after a car chase in which shots were reportedly fired at pursuing officers. In the end, no one was hurt except a suspect sicced by a police dog.

On August 30, 2011, Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at 9705 Cerelle. Communications advised Officers that a witness observed three Hispanic male subjects leave the residence in a tan SUV. Officers got behind a gold 2001 Chevy S-10 Blazer, bearing Arkansas LPN 252KHA at Kanis and Marlyn. The driver of the vehicle attempted to speed away from Officers, at which time a pursuit ensued. While following the suspect vehicle, Officers observed a dark colored gun stick out of the passenger side of the vehicle they observed three gunshots being fired at officers. Officers followed the vehicle to Kanis and Leander, where they lost sight of the vehicle for a short time. Officers located the vehicle in the 1900 block of Leander. None of the suspects were located in the vehicle, at which time Officers and Detectives setup a perimeter in Boyle Park, and two K-9 Officers responded to the scene.
K-9 Officers along with Patrol Officers searched the wooded area and located Guerrero, Cucue and Tenoril. All of the suspects were taken into custody. Luis Tenoril was bitten on his right shoulder by one of the K-9 Officers and transported to UAMS for treatment. Cucue and Guerrero were transported to the Detective Division where all three suspects were charged with attempted capital murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary, Theft, Felony Fleeing and Hit and Run. They were all transported to the Pulaski County Jail.
