A civic gadfly with a long memory sent me a copy of the flyer he received from Mayor Mark Stodola during his re-election campaign last year. He notes:
The fire station listed under “Accomplishments” in this re-election campaign mailer does not exist. We are being asked to pass a tax, in part, to make it a reality.
Yes and I believe you'll find that police substation the mayor said he delivered is a $10 million item on the "priority needs" list the city has prepared to justify a 1.25-cent increase in the city sales tax.
