Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen has dismissed a taxpayers lawsuit over state officials' use of state cars for personal purposes. The judge said the suit lacked sufficient facts on which to base a claim and that two defendants hadn't been properly served.
One of the plaintiffs' attorneys, Christopher Brockett, said the suit would be refiled in a month. "Must have more facts and properly serve everyone," he wrote. Another lawyer, Gene Sayre, said they'd likely be filing FOIA requests to provide detail desired by the judge.
