Speaking of the Arkansas Lottery:
A friend driving back from South Carolina reports a double-take at crossing a bridge leaving Charleston and seeing it named the Ernie Passailaigue Connector Bridge.
A local newspaper article explains the quaint practice of slapping low-grade politico names on bridges all over the place there, including an overpass bridge for Ernie P., a former state senator and lottery director.
Wonder what we could name for Ernie P. when the high-dollar lottery boss moves on?
