On 01-17-04, at approximately 0728 hours, officers were dispatched to a man down in the 4000 block of Old Shackelford Road. Upon their arrival, they observed a black male subject lying deceased in the street from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was later identified through fingerprint comparison as Anthony Terry of North Little Rock. Later the same day, at approximately 1235 hours, North Little Rock Fire Department responded to a car on fire and located a Mercury Topaz belonging to a Ms. Carolyn Terry fully engulfed in flames. When investigators from North Little Rock spoke with Ms. Terry, they learned that her husband, Anthony Terry, had been in possession of the vehicle the night before and he had not returned home.

Detectives interviewed family members and learned from Mr. Terry was at Oliver’s Fish Market in North Little Rock the night before when he picked up an unknown black male and gave him a ride.

On 07-20-06, information was obtained that identified Antonerio Norris as the suspect. It was discovered that Terry got out of his car for a minute on Old Shackleford, Norris got out of the car behind him and shot Terry one time in the back of the head before taking his wallet and driving away in the car. Norris then took the car back to NLR where burned the vehicle.
