Politics in the health law challenge



It is a crying shame that the legal debate over the health care reform law has become almost as partisan as the legislative process. But it's unavoidable to note that Republican appointed judges have tended to find fault with the law and Democratic appointees have tended to uphold it.

So, it is news that three Democratic appointees were chosen — by computer — to hear the major challenge of two cases that have reached the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
