The deputy Fayetteville police chief just thought he was doing "something nice" for female police employees with difficult jobs by giving them back, shoulder and neck massages. (He claimed not to remember ever making off-color remarks, something he was also alleged to favor.) He's gone. Retired at full benefits, just ahead of completion of a sexual harassment investigation that found many employees were not amused. Sounds like they felt a bit like Angela Merkel did when George W. Bush unexpectedly pawed her (photo above).
