A reader reminds me that a Republican-supported House budget plan — thanks Reps. Tim Griffin, Rick Crawford and Steve Womackwould take $450 million out of the hide of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

That includes a $126 million cut for the National Weather Service.
