Artist Kathleen Caricof of the National Sculptors Guild in Loveland, Colo., stands with her work, "Infinity," unveiled today in the city's Vogel-Schwartz Sculpture Garden behind the Peabody Hotel in Riverfront Park.
The 10-foot steel double mobius strip sits atop a granite column.
A second commissioned piece, "Re-Convene," is under construction (below) in the Statehouse Convention Center, one of the final touches of $800,000 in renovations. The sculptures were underwritten by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and Robert Vogel of the Vogel Schwartz Foundation.
Caricof has other works in Little Rock, including in the River Market and at the entrance to War Memorial Stadium.
