I had to grin when a national reporter again mentioned yesterday that Mike Huckabee leads most polls on Republican presidential contenders. That generally means he draws support in the mid-20 percent range. Best of a bad lot, in other words.
That feeling is underscored by this new national poll. Every single Republican polled had a net unfavorable rating, though Huckabee led the pack at -7 (35/42). Others include Sarah Palin, -22, and Newt, -31.
President Obama, by comparison, looks positively robust with a dead zero net job performance rating — 47/47.
