NEWS RELEASE

Matt Mosler’s Beautiful Feet Ministry Purchases Pintail Peninsula Lodge and Acreage, Transforming it into CrossHeirs Retreat Center

LITTLE ROCK, AR (February 28, 2011) —- The 14,000 square foot, three-story Pintail Peninsula Lodge which sits on a 280 acre farm in the Bayou Meto wildlife management area has been purchased by Beautiful Feet Ministry, a lay ministry founded and directed by Matt Mosler of Sherwood, Arkansas. The lodge is in Humphrey (Arkansas county), approximately 14 miles southwest of Stuttgart on world-renowned duck hunting property.

Renovations are already underway at the lodge to prepare it as a teaching and retreat center for churches, men’s and women’s groups, corporations and individuals. Beautiful Feet Ministry was able to purchase the property, Mosler said, solely through gifts and donations from the ministry’s Board of Directors and supporters. The largest amount came as a result of memorial gifts made to honor the late Jim Miller of Burke, Virginia. Miller was the father of one of Mosler’s life-long friends who is also a board member of the ministry. The lodge will be named in Miller’s honor. Executive Chef Paul Uher has been hired to handle all food services at the lodge. He and his wife Donna, also a chef trained at the Cordon Bleu School in San Francisco, will serve as caretakers.

Additional information on the retreat center can be obtained at www.crossheirs.org or www.facebook.com/Crossheirs Retreat Center.
