* The day's excitement seems to be protests and counter-protests in Wisconsin of the new governor's effort to unilaterally kill public employee unions. (No, teabaggers, union membership isn't mandatory in Wisconsin. No, 'baggers, it really isn't nearly as much about reductions in pension and health benefits — those are a given — as it is the governor's attempt to end decades of collective bargaining rights.) Union supporters were in the clear majority by all estimates, but the Koch-funded echo machine is working valiantly to gin up 'bagger pushback.
* Dejavu all over again. NY Times has a story out for tomorrow on some of the people who hold permits to own handguns in New York. Some of the pistol-packers aren't happy about the legal disclosure of public records.
