MSNBC’s announcement that the network’s relationship with Keith Olbermann had ended didn’t come as too big of a surprise. Olbermann was starting to draw criticism for being too much like Fox commentators, just from the left. On the one hand, I think it’s probably best. His over-the-top bluster started to get old awhile back. However, Olbermann really was one of the first commentators on the left that decided he was going to fight fire with fire and built a lot of momentum for MSNBC as a result. Is this a good thing? I’d like to hear your thoughts.
