To go along with your morning sausage, a story about women farming in Arkansas: Barbara Armstrong of Amstrong Beefalo Farm in El Paso was just interviewed on NPR about women in farming. NPR decided to talk to Armstrong and another woman farmer because so many women are turning to agriculture. Armstrong has been farming since 1994; she sells her meat at the Farmers Market. She tells NPR's Liane Hansen:
People love to buy from a woman. We like to talk, we like to share things; we talk about our kids but we talk about our animals too.
