There's been a time change on the CNN special I mentioned yesterday on the West Memphis Three murder case. It was moved from Wednesday to 10 p.m. Thursday so it won't conflict with a memorial service for the Arizona shooting victims.
UPDATE: Mara Leveritt's new subscription website on West Memphis Three developments, part of her work on a second book on the case reports today on rough treatment Damien Echols says he has received from prison guards, both in use of restraints and tossing his cell and removing items from it. The system clearly isn't any friendlier to Echols' cause now than it was when they cooked up a modern-day Salem atmosphere to convict him. Unfortunately, what happens on Death Row stays on Death Row, except for occasional leaks from the Mara Leveritts of the world. A subscription to her new work costs $15.
