The state revenue report for December showed income up over the same month last year, though below forecast because of a drop in corporate income taxes and increase in corporate tax refunds. Officials said that the corporate tax number is volatile, however, and commented:

The key collection categories of individual withholding and sales tax (gross receipts) continued to perform well and in concert with economic recovery in the state.
