You might have noticed a squib in today's paper about the female Dallas preacher arrested after being seen leaving the home of a member of her congregation with a couple of fur coats and a laptop. The story gets weirder and more involved with an extended video interview of the suspect by the Dallas Morning News. She was filmed amid a display of, yes, fur coats. Her point being, I'd guess: What does she need with more fur coats?
With an abundance of seasonal kindness, it might be possible to believe the pastor is telling the truth about entering the house through a broken window to investigate what she believed to be a burglary in progress and that she removed items to protect them. The victim is not buying, however.
