This flier went out to Little Rock Education Association members this week. It refers to the coming process to choose a new school superintendent for the Little Rock School District. The Board voted last week to buy out Superintendent Linda Watson. Her last day under a negotiated agreement will be Jan. 15. An interim leader will be named, maybe next week, while a search for a successor continues. Board President Melanie Fox has said several times that she's asked the teachers union to plan to participate in the process. The LREA supported Watson's continuation as superintendent.
