Even the up arrows are mostly damning with faint praise in Brummett’s Thanksgiving day assessment of state political figures (and one football coach, who’s kind of a political figure in our context.) For example, an UP arrow for:

Schizophrenia — I refer to the 2nd Congressional District of Arkansas, which will be represented in the U.S. House of Representatives by liberal iconoclast Vic Snyder one day and by a Karl Rove spinoff named Tim Griffin the next. That’s like pinch-hitting for Willie Mays with Mario Mendoza.
