Did I hear that the expensive new football "operations center" planned at the University of Arkansas will include some space for athletes to do school work, receive tutoring and such?
Might be a good idea. Thanks to Derek Jenkins to directing me to the latest figures on graduation success rates of football players among SEC schools. Arkansas finished next-to-last at a 55 percent rate, just ahead of Tennnessee. Vanderbilt led the conference at 89 percent in the years measured.
