Affiliated exec gets prison time UPDATE

John Mills, the former CEO of the now defunct Affiliated Foods Southwest, got a 41-month federal prison sentence this morning for a check kiting scheme, KARK reports. He was also ordered to repay more than $3 million to a bank. Presumably, unlike in the Vilonia football receipts case, payment of the money won't buy his way out of prison.

Here's the U.S. attorney release.

UPDATE: And while we're about white collar crime: here's the U.S. attorney's report on a 41-month sentence given a Rogers woman, Dana Washburn, in a $3.6 million bank fraud case.
