It's only one poll and it's an outlier as to results. But let's take scant comfort where possible. Newsweek polling last week gave Democrats the generic preference, it showed Democrats more likely to vote and cast some doubt on the "angry voter" motivational theory.
You would hope that, as election draws near, even disaffected Democrats would realize the danger of putting the tax-work-not-wealth crowd in charge. Does the U.S. really want to elect candidates who believe in raising taxes on the working poor by eliminating the earned income and child tax credits but continue windfall tax rates for billionaires? That's what Republicans support, along with tax preferences for foreign corporations, discrimination against various disfavored minorities, an end to abortion rights and lots, lots more. It's enough to make the sentient angry.
