Here are the details on state Supreme Court webcasting of oral arguments, beginning Thursday.
For your web "favorites," here's the link. The sessions will also be archived for future viewing.
The Arkansas Supreme Court announced this morning that its oral arguments will be streamed live on the Internet beginning Thursday. You may access the broadcasts here: http://arkansas-sc.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=2. On the Judiciary website, there is a button called “Oral Arguments Video” which will take you to the videos.
Chief Justice Hannah’s announcement is archived on the website now for those who could not join us. Oral arguments will also be archived for viewing any time. Once the opinion is handed down on each case argued orally, that opinion will be posted next to the archived argument.
The camera system was installed last fall, and testing of the software was conducted over the summer. The Court chose to use Granicus for the software and hosting, which is the same company used by the Arkansas House of Representatives.
