Interesting video. The real action starts just before the 6-minute mark. The elements: Jonesboro cops. A traffic stop. A man with a camera who loudly criticizes the cops’ behavior. You can guess where it ends up — handcuffs for the cameraman.

Once again: I stilll believe there’s no crime in calling a cop an unflattering name, certainly not from the sanctity of one’s own home. But that doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.

UPDATE: Jonesboro Sun has a report on the case. The man arrested has a past. Not that that’s relevant to whether police should invade a guy’s property because he called them a name. Get a picture of his life, too, from his Facebook page. He chooses for his picture an image of Dale Gribble, Hank Hill’s paranoid neighbor on King of the Hill.
