One man was fatally wounded and two more men are receiving treatment for gunshot wounds to the head in shootings about 11:30 p.m. last night outside a motel off Geyer Springs Road at 6100 Mitchell Drive. Police haven’t quite sorted out all the details yet, but a potential suspect in the shooting was seen fleeing by an officer who responded after hearing gunshots while stopped at a service station nearby.

Another Southwest Little Rock shooting, unrelated so far as is known, took the life of Christopher Bowers, 24, about 6 p.m. yesterday. He was found shot in the head on the ground behind a building at 5813 Baseline Road.
