Dr. No Boozman issued a news release the other day saying he opposed a “lame duck” session after the November election to deal with controversial issues. He’d hold such sessions only for national emergencies.

I guess that was a national emergency back in 1998 when Dr. No’s predecessor, Asa!, led the Republicans’ effort in a lame duck session to impeach President Bill Clinton.
