Chelsea Clinton's wedding next weekend, apparently in New York state, continues to fascinate the big city press. Here, the New York Times samples feelings among Clinton associates about not being on the guest list.
I liked the guy who said, in essence, it's Chelsea's wedding, not a state or political event. Imagine compressing a lifetime of associations as governor, president, U.S. senator and secretary of state into a guest list of 400 — after the bride and groom's friends. Not easy.
Chelsea's growing up reminded me of a photo I took of her with her dad at a pre-school ballet recital about, oh, 1984.
