I was otherwise occupied this afternoon with my annual trip to Boys State, where my liberal views annually provoke some spirited questioning. Observations: Boys State numbers have dwindled. Time was, both the main floor and balcony of the auditorium were full of Boys Staters lustily booing me. No balcony seats were occupied this year.
About campus improvements at UCA. The place is looking better all the time. I think those expensive sidewalks in the news lately help create a sense of campus unity. I've come around on this. I thought UALR's big investment in fencing some years ago was a waste. I think now it's part of an evolving, cohesive campus. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Enough of me.
