I think the Senate candidates are wasting time hammering away at issues that only their special pleaders care much about or where voters' minds have long been made up.
Case in point: Card check. Blanche Lincoln is totting up the number of times Bill Halter won't say how he'd vote on a union proposal that looks to be dead. Come clean, Bill, Lincoln shrieks.
We know, of course, where Lincoln stands. She was for it before she was against it. And Republicans are prepared to beat the holy crap out of her over it. Same thing on health care. Find a position you don't like on it and she's been there at one time or another.
Give Lincoln this. On tax cuts for billionaires, Lincoln's record is pristine. For them then, for them now, for them forever.
