U.S. Attorney Jane Duke today announced guilty plea agreements by three men for crimes related to the big racketeering case that has produced charges against one current and one former North Little Rock alderman. Sounds like they'll be able to provide evidence against some of those awaiting trial in the case.
Dana Kukyendall, 55, pleaded to money laundering and illegal gambling. Part of his plea agreement includes forfeiture of almost a half-million in seized money and payment of another $598,000.
Tony Milner, 38, pleaded to being a straw purchaser of a firearm from Alderman Sam Baggett for a convicted felon, George Wylie Thompson, who's the reputed crime family figure targeted in the racketeering probe.
Gene Baker, 60, pleaded to joining in gambling, specifically to lay off bets for Kuykendall and Thompson.
