will host a debate tomorrow night featuring the six Democratic candidates hoping to take over for Rep. Marion Berry in the first congressional district. The candidates are: Steve Bryles
of Blytheville; Chad Causey
of Jonesboro; David Cook
of Williford; Terry Green
of Mountain Home; Ben Ponder
of Mountain Home; and Tim Wooldridge
of Paragould. The debate starts at 8:00 p.m. at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Mountain Home.

The Baxter County Democratic Club will host a debate featuring the six candidates for the position of U.S. Representative from the 1st Congressional District seat being vacated by the retirement of Rep. Marion Berry.
The debate will be Saturday, April 10, at 8:00 p.m. in the Ramada Inn Convention Center located at 1127 Hwy. 62B East in Mountain Home. Candidates for the position are Steve Bryles of Blytheville; Chad Causey of Jonesboro; David Cook of Williford; Terry Green of Mountain Home; Ben Ponder of Mountain Home; and Tim Wooldridge of Paragould.
Candidates will give opening and closing statements. They will also be answering questions from a moderator about healthcare, the economy, foreign policy, and veterans’ issues. Questions will be submitted by local news media as well as from members of the Democratic Club.
The debate is open to the public and will last for approximately one hour. Candidates will be available before and after the debate to visit with citizens of the area.
