This Scott Wallace v. Tim Griffin race might get interesting. Hometown boy vs. D.C. insider, as Mike Huckabee aptly characterized it in endorsing Wallace yesterday. Certainly, Griffin isn't talking much about his famous role as a Karl Rove attack dog.
But today comes a poll from the Wallace campaign. I don't give campaign polling much benefit of the doubt generally when it's released publicly, but this one sounds reasonable -- a modest edge to Wallace with the majority undecided. That could be.
And, so, would you rather have your free media in Arkansas be about an endorsement from a nasty D.C. insider (Eric Cantor) or the popular (at least among Republicans) former Arkansas governor (Huckabee)?
