More details in the case of a Little Rock man who fatally shot a man who entered his house on South Martin Street yesterday. From the LRPD:
SUSPECT – SAMUEL JOHNSON SR., B/M, 07-04-1944, 2018 S. MARTIN
VICTIM – TERRY DANIEL, B/M, 08-24-1979, 3327 W. 17TH STREET
INCIDENT DATE/TIME – 02-11-2010, 1358 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION –2018 S. MARTIN STREET
On 02-11-10, officers responded to a shooting at 2018 South Martin and made contact with the homeowner, Samuel Johnson, who advised that a male he knows from the neighborhood, Terry Daniel, busted through his front door. Daniel made demands, pushed Mr. Johnson and entered the kitchen for a knife. Daniel made aggressive gestures at Mr. Johnson with the knife and Mr. Johnson fired one shot striking and killing Mr. Daniel. It is not clear why Mr. Daniel entered Mr. Johnson’s residence. A number of witnesses were interviewed and Mr. Johnson was released without charges pending prosecutorial review.
