Polling coming tomorrow will show Rep. John Boozman an easy winner over U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln.

I’m only guessing, but I’d still guess Boozman –outside the Third District — is equivalent to an anybody-but-Blanche vote among poll respondents and this is the polling outfit whose results have tended to trend Republican.

Come November, Lincoln will have defined Boozman (or whoever wins the Republican nomination) by somewhat clearer terms. Or go home to the Delta for failure to do so.

That’s why we still have elections. Boozman starts his run at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Capitol.
