I don't link them all, but I hope everyone has noticed our Arkansas news headline service on the right rail of the blog and home page. It constantly feeds news headlines and links to other major news organization in Arkansas. It provides a Twitter-like stream of dominant news of the day.
Like the news that Joint Budget thinks that elected officials, including legislators, should get no pay raises next year. How could they do otherwise, since Gov. Beebe has already said state workers will get no increases? What will be interesting to watch will be the certain appearance of special pleaders.
The legislature doesn't control county and city official pay. All bets are off, as usual, on the Pulaski Quorum Court.
