All’s Fair in Love and Politics
James Carville and Mary Matalin
Washington D.C. power couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will talk politics and current events in the next installment of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series. A longtime Republican political operative, Matalin served as assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney, and was the first White House official to hold that double title.
Carville, Matalin’s Democratic husband and counterpart, is the former senior advisor and chief campaign strategist for President Bill Clinton. Following their lecture, Carville and Matalin will sign copies of their classic book, "All’s Fair: Love, War and Running for President."
