St. Vincent adds neurosurgeons

St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center is opening a neuroscience institute with a team of three neurosurgeons, including two big name doctors who recently departed UAMS -- Dr. Ali Krisht and Dr. Osama Al Mefty.

NEWS RELEASE

A news conference will be held Mon. Nov. 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the main lobby of St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, 2 St. Vincent Circle in Little Rock.  The Arkansas Neuroscience Institute (ANI) at St. Vincent will be introduced along with world renowned neurosurgeons who perform adult neurosurgical procedures exclusively at St. Vincent for patients in Arkansas, surrounding states and around the world.   Dr. Ali Krisht, Dr. Osama Al-Mefty and Dr. Ian Dunn comprise the medical staff of ANI.
 
ANI surgeons currently have 10 international patients from Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Chile, Morocco, Venezuela and Syria who are scheduled for surgery.
