With a potential former Farm Bureau president, Stanley Reed, talking about running against Sen. Blanche Lincoln, it's a good time for her to make nice with the farm lobby/insurance company. She'll have a two-hour videconference with Farm Bureau members Tuesday and take questions from members and "invited guests."
Sick, poorly paid and uninsured? Take a number and the senator's staff will get back to you. Someday.
UPDATE: But maybe I should be more sympathetic. Rolling Stone reports that Sen. Jim Demint has sicced a teabagger phone attack on her office.
