I've mentioned previously that Fox "reporter" John Stossel will be fronting the Koch-financed lobby group, Americans for Prosperity, when it starts an anti-health legislation barnstorming tour in Arkansas. The Koch family makes millions in chemicals, energy, forest products and others and doesn't like to share it with the government, particularly in the form of estate taxes. They were primary financiers of the term limits movement, part of an effort to get lawmakers more to their liking in place.
Stossel's work for a special interest group is getting a little attention, especially since the Obama White House has been pushing back against the notion that Fox is more than a front for conservative Republican politics. The Arkansas dog-and-pony shows start Oct. 29. I hope someone asks if "journalist" Stossel is volunteering his time.
