Benjamin Swindoll, 19, received a 10-year sentence today in a fatal DWI case on Chenal Parkway. The case, in which a passenger in his car died, had drawn wide attention because of the defendant’s brushes with the law before and after the accident. Today’s THV has the report.

UPDATE: Thanks to a reader who notes a more detailed account at Channel 4. It reports six years of the 10 were suspended and that he could be released earlier on successful completion of a nine-month rehabilitation program.
