Change slowed on rabies shots


Interesting. The Times some time ago chronicled efforts to remove Arkansas from the very short list -- along with only Alabama -- that still required annual rabies vaccinations. Vaccines last much longer and many states now require shots every three years. The legislature passed a law this year allowing longer waits between vaccinations. But the state Board of Health, under pressure from vets, has decided to leave the decision to vets.
