David Pryor, who knows a thing or two about winning over voters, writes on Politico that it's time for President Obama to have a fireside chat, a la FDR, with Americans.
Mr. President, it is time for another fireside chat. This time, we can gather around the television set and turn our attention to a much younger president who must now convince America that poisoning the tree that bears the fruit of liberty might be expected in dictatorships, but we won’t stand for it.
Take the offensive, Pryor urges. Separate fact from fiction. He even suggests that Obama take questions, like in a British parliamentary question session.
